This morning I stopped by to see the buying and design department
to retrace the birth of a pretty blouse that you will discover this srping.
Everything begins 18 months before it reaches the store
according to the colors chosen for the future season…
Next, the designers work on trend panels
or mood boards to ilustrate the ambiance they are looking for.
Then, they create a complete theme around their inspirations
with a dress, a shirt, a skirt…
With this file, the buyers will work on composing the theme
with a special attention to details of the clothing.
Details that will enhance the item, add another feeling…
Here, a butterfly appliqué and 2 little embroideries
and there, a button and crocheted ribbon…
The theme is called dream… starting in February
